While operating on a customer site, a telescopic handler was exiting an access point situated between two newly constructed houses, both of which were surrounded by scaffolding. The handler was being operated with its forks raised.
Due to restricted visibility caused by the surrounding scaffold, the operator of the telescopic handler did not observe an approaching concrete mixer vehicle. As a result, the telescopic handler made contact with the front driver's side of the mixer vehicle.
The incident resulted in damage to the windscreen of the concrete mixer truck.
