Safer By Sharing Conference Presentations

To help achieve Zero Harm, all employees and contractors need to be involved in sharing knowledge and experience as a contributor to developing and maintaining personal competence.

In addition to brokering 1-2-1 expert mentoring, MPA addresses a wide variety of operational audiences through the series of 'Safer by Sharing' mini seminars. These involve expert speakers addressing prioritised topics to small audiences but with major audience participation. See the dates and venues for the 2018 seminars below.

The number of 'Safer by Sharing' CPD seminars delivered extends into double figures, with a continually evolving annual programmes designed by the industry for the industry.

For further information about the programmes and to register for a seminar, please contact MPA’s Jane Blake (English Regions) or David Harding (Wales)

Please see details of past programmes below together with the option to view and download presentations from this event.

Safer by Sharing seminars in 2018:

Focus on the Management of Risk and Risk Assessment including;

  • Relevant Legislation
  • Hazards, Risks and Consequences
  • Principles of Control
  • Practical Exercise - Hazard Spotting
  • The Hierarchy of Controls
  • Practical Exercise - Risk Analysis
  • Sharing of Best Practice

easy terms, how to approach them and how to carry out your own.

F M Conway are supporting the event with their in-house risk trainers.
