| CCTV cameras reduce tipper overturns |
| One of the difficulties associated with the transportation and tipping of heavy loads is the overturning of articulated tippers. In an attempt to prevent overturns, Bardon Aggregates installed CCTV cameras in the front-inside of the vehicle body. The image is then relayed to a monitor in the cab. The driver can now observe, visually, the loading and discharging operations from the safety of the vehicle cab, assessing if there is likely to be any danger of the lorry tipping. |
