Description
Lafarge is committed to increasing awareness of the risks associated with the inhalation of dust and to promoting good control practices.
A DVD was produced which is based around the story of “The Lamberts” Harold Lambert, sons Michael and Andrew and their 2 sons, all employees at Lafarge. Sadly, Harold died shortly before filming. The DVD is his story and shows the consequences of inadequate dust control and what Lafarge is doing to address this.
The DVD highlights the systems in place and the importance of staff maintaining and using the control measures provided, the message is - You control your own destiny.
The DVD was shown to all employees at their annual conference where the theme was
– It is not what you can see it’s what you can’t see that will hurt you!
