| Virtual quarry and open access education resource |
This is a MIST funded project by the QPA, supported by Daybreak Communications.
The project has successfully achieved its four objectives:
- To create a dynamic web-based educational resource for both teachers and children
- To take full advantage of the quarrying industry’s substantial potential to contribute to the National Curriculum across several subject areas
- To use the new medium as an opportunity to deliver wider access to safety and careers information
- To establish the quarrying industry as a willing contributor to the overall education community.
