This is a MIST funded project involving the Department of Mining and Mineral Engineering at the University of Leeds.
The recording of information is critical to the blasting process. The review and analysis of past data can play a key part in the blast’s design.
The most efficient method of data management is by means of a computerised database. The project aimed to produce a bespoke blasting database system to meet the requirements of the industry.
