During maintenance activities at the Enslow workshop, there is a requirement to gain access into the tipper trailers used within the business, this includes a variety of body configurations 2-3-4 axled vehicles.
It had been identified that the mechanics using a combination of steps / platforms fitted to the vehicles and step ladders from ground level was inherently unsafe, a fall could result in a serious injury.
