TITLE
Safe Use of Acid
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN
WHAT HAPPENED
A foreign Truckmixer driver in London managed to get a small amount of acid into his eye when he used a personal supply contained within a spray bottle to clean the back of his truck! The wind blew a tiny amount into his face.
He was very lucky that he did not get an amount significant enough to warrant flushing his eye and his tear ducts apparently washed out the contaminant.
HE WAS NOT WEARING ANY EYE PROTECTION AT THE TIME, SO THE OUTCOME COULD HAVE BEEN FAR WORSE
