LEARNING POINTS / ACTIONS TAKEN
The key learning points are:
1. Haulier rules FORBID RIGGER BOOTS to be worn on all company and customer sites. Riggers do not provide adequate ankle support - always wear approved lace-up boots.
2. Drivers must dismount the vehicle in a safe manner using the integral cab steps. Descend in a straight line – do not step out off the bottom step.
3. Always report accidents. Any accident on a customer site MUST be reported to the site operator and Company.
ALWAYS OBEY CUSTOMER'S SITE RULES – IF IN DOUBT ASK!
