FINALIST - TOPIC 8
EPC-UK is developing a culture of psychological safety and trust. It recognises the value that high quality training, mentoring and coaching brings to its company and its team capabilities, as it heightens both operational and psychological safety to prevent Fatal 6 incidents across its organisation.
EPC-UK’s Managing, its Head of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality and its Head of Human Resources, worked with specialist in sustainable safety culture development to design a Coaching for Empowerment course specific to EPC-UK.
The course content took six months to create and fine tune. It focusses on providing enhanced interpersonal skills in coaching and mentoring for Supervisors and Managers within the EPC-UK business and is based on working together to further embed our company’s SPIRIT values (Safety, Passion, Integrity, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork) whilst delivering aligned results.
