Bulldozer theft

A bulldozer was stolen in the early hours of the morning, after the thieves disconnected the factory fitted immobiliser.It was loaded onto a low loader, and driven by a team of three to Dover, over to France and onto Belgium. They had what looked like authentic papers. Because the machine was also fitted with a tracker, we managed to get Interpol to stop them on the Belgium border, and unload our machine.
They managed to convince the authorities they were acting innocently, and were released along with their low loader. We then sent our own low loader over and recovered the machine, which was then fitted with a more sophisticated type of immobiliser.

|
Fit the best possible immobilisers to mobile plant - once they have got a Bulldozer started any other security can be quickly breached.
